Suzanne Hamlin & Susan Howard

Suzanne & Susan's new crafting fun involves Wedgewood inspired Ornaments & unique beaded jewelry! Can' t wait to see them at the Nov 7th 2009 Hoiday Art Bazaar!!
Suzanne Hamlin, originally from New Orleans, LA, moved to Williamsburg 14 years ago. In 2005, she retired from the US Navy after serving 20 years as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer in a variety of locations including Sicily and the hospital ship USNS Comfort. Now a home maker, she enjoys caring for animals, frequently fostering sick animals from the Humane Society. Her daughter is currently a freshman at VCU and Suzanne opens her home each year to an exchange student here to learn English and experience American life. She finds time to create lovely purses & accessories with her friend Susan Howard. Every December you can find them at the Christmas Arts & Crafts Show at Chambrel.

Susan Howard was born and raised in Boston, MA. During the 80's, she taught learning disabled students in Saluda and Newport News, VA. She, her husband Ernie, and 2 children now reside Shellbank Woods(neighborhood within First Colony). Susan now works for the WJCC school system in the English As a Second Language program. In their free time, she and her friend Suzanne Hamlin enjoy creating women's accessories with fabrics, beads, and other materials.
